https://indianafirststeps.org/ First Steps works with families who have children under the age of three years old. First Steps provides developmental evaluations at no cost to families. If the child shows a qualifying delay and need for services to address gross motor, fine motor, adaptive, cognitive, social communication, or social skills First Steps can write a plan for service with the family. First Steps can then provide services in the child’s natural environment (home, daycare, virtually) to work on developmental goals important to the family. Services may include Service Coordination, Speech, Occupational, Physical, and/or Developmental therapy and services are provided on a sliding scale fee. Any child under the age of three living in Indiana is eligible to receive a free developmental evaluation and if eligible and in need of ongoing services is eligible to have an Individualized Family Service Plan written to support their development.
