Silver Lining of Hartford City (Find us on Facebook).  Silver Lining opportunity store provides items that are necessary and helpful for raising small children. Families attend appointments with WIC, doctors, eye doctor, dentist or participate in programs like Healthy Families, Extension, Early Headstart, Headstart or do healthy activities like storytime at the library or parent teacher conferences. Families earn Silver Lining coupons for their participation then bring the coupons to the Silver Lining store on the 2nd Saturday of each month to "buy" items with. No money is exchanged. All items are purchased with earned coupons. The store carries a wide variety of new and very gently used items from clothes, diapers, wipes, soaps, to potty chairs, toddler beds, safety gates, playards to books, toys, and many other necessities.
